ENC 3416: Writing and Editing in Print and Online, is a core requirement for EWM majors at FSU. During that class, I was tasked with writing an open letter addressing some sort of social justice issue. The topic that I chose was the homelessness crisis in Tallahassee and the broader Big Bend area; after living here for only one year, I am heartbroken by the pervasiveness of poverty in our community.
